The new sector protocol has been approved by the minister!
Our professional associations BIV and CIB worked hard to ensure that the contacts that the real estate agents must necessarily make in order to make site visits etc. in a safe manner.
The sector protocol was drawn up for this. In the meantime, it has already been approved by the minister.

From May 11, 2020 you can request a site visit at Pillars!
From 11/05/2020 real estate agents are allowed to carry out site visits again. It goes without saying that a number of guidelines will have to be followed!

Due to the decisions of the Belgian State, many entrepreneurs are obliged to temporarily close their business from 18/03/2020 at 12:00. Real estate agents also belong to this group.

Which information is required at the sale of real estate? - part 3
Most people leave the legal side of things for what it is and they turn to lawyers and jurists, but we are supposed to have knowledge of the legislation. The real estate sector has not been spared here. Although the regulations are of great importance, when selling a property there is a lot involved. Seller and buyer are protected and are helped in the right direction.
But how do you find your way in this?

What is a pre-emptive right?
Is a property heavier with a pre-emptive right or not? This must be communicated with the sale of a property. The right of pre-emption can arise in different ways and then a good distinction must be made with the right of preference.

What is the purpose of the urban building information?
By law, it is mandatory to provide the urban information for every sale of a property and for every lease of more than 9 years. This is laid down in the Flemish Codex of Spatial Planning (VCRO).
